This is foremost a site for myself, to collect and organise my experiences. I decided to publish it to share them with you, so that others may build they life and happiness on the experiences of those I met; to let you realise that there are many others that are tracing their own paths to happiness. It’s not a well organised archive, it’s a portal to ideas, contacts, inspirations.. it’s a journey in progress.
My journey started 30 years ago, but this site only started with a paragliding road trip across Western Europe in 2013: from Wales to Sicily, passing via Alicante and Annecy, Italian Alps, le Cinqueterre della Liguria, Roma, Maratea, … & still heading south to the 3 corners of the fertile land of Sicily.

‘A return to the ancestral future’ – Transition – Decrescita – there are many names and ‘principles’, but essentially is putting the Human dimension back into a Life that for many has become a de-humanised consumerist life.
A return to a more direct living and producing to live well, with the help of windmills, water power, solar energy, human power & the efficency gained by technology and knowledge. We went a bit crazy, but we know better now..
Ways of living in harmony with oneself, the land, the people, nature, and the rhythms of the seasons is possible!
In the course of this journey I have found many ways of living sustainably and without compromises on personal happiness and well-being.
What these usually have in common is more time spent Living and doing stuff to enjoy everyday, together with other people, – and less time ‘Being at work to get the money to go shopping to live next week’
